New Hamburg Spray Foam Insulation sprays foam in houses, farm buildings and shops through New Hamburg, Baden and the villages of Wilmot and south Wellesley. Insurance covers every job we do.
Foam is the only thing we sell. Attics, basements, crawl spaces, rim joists, garages, barns and new builds all get the same careful routine, from the first visit to the last walk-through.
Foam turns messy fast in careless hands. Plastic goes over floors, stairs and stored things before we begin, and windows, outlets and anything else that should stay clean get taped off.
When the spraying stops, we trim the extra, bag the offcuts and vacuum the whole area. Then we tour the space with you so you can see every bay that got foam.
Foam bonds and cures properly only on a clean, dry surface at the right temperature. We take readings on every wall and roof deck before a drop is sprayed.
In cold weather the space gets heated first. If a wall is wet, we tell you and wait until it dries.
Foam goes on in lifts, so each layer can cure and cool before the next. That keeps it from cracking or pulling off the framing.
We push a pin gauge into the foam as it builds, so the thickness printed on your quote matches what ends up on the studs.
Each quote breaks the job down by area, naming the product, the depth and the square feet. Removal, ground sheets and any extras are listed too, so the total you see is the total you pay.
If something changes once work begins, we talk it over with you before doing anything extra.
Wilmot holds 1800s brick houses near the Nith, newer streets in Baden and working farms across the township and north into Wellesley. Each one needs its own plan.
We look at what is in front of us, lay out the options and recommend the foam that fits.
Spray foam insulation is fussy about temperature. In the winter months we bring heaters to warm the space and the surface, and we keep the two liquids warm in the rig until the moment they mix.
That extra step adds a little time to a January job. It is also the difference between foam that bonds for good and foam that shrinks away from the studs by spring.
Some spaces are better off with a different fix, such as a wall that needs drainage work before any insulation. When that is the case, we tell you plainly, even if it means a smaller job for us.
Ask us anything about your building at the visit or by phone. A good answer now saves you money later.
Dial (548) 290-9844 or use the request form to book a visit at no cost. We try to phone back while the business day is still going. The home page lists every service we offer.
Every service below gets the same prep, the same clean-up and the same walk-through at the end.

Basement spray foam insulation bonds to poured concrete, block or old fieldstone and holds its R-value even when a spring thaw leaves the floor wet.

Crawl space spray foam insulation pulls a cold, musty crawl space under an addition or an old farmhouse inside the heated envelope, so the room above stops feeling like a porch.
